Week 5

This is my redesign home page so far:

HTML and Css

I've been looking more at the techincal side of web pages as well as the design side. I'm really enjoying the Html stuff. I learnt about it in high school so its all coming back to me... I reckon if I hadn't learnt about it previously I wouldn't have a clue what it was all about!! I'm a bit of a battler though... I always forget to close my instructions.

Eg... what is wrong...

Yep I forgot the < /html >.... BATTLER!!! I'll try and remember from now on!!

Design Reference

I'm doing the website The National Folk Festival (http://www.folkfestival.asn.au/)

These 5 websites have the following 7 qualities in common which I am looking at using when designing my website:

1. Access to different parts of the website in a bar near the top.
2. Bold pictures.
3. At least three different colours used.
4. Logo/heading in top left hand corner.
5. More then one font type used.
6. Content centered.
7. Gives some info of the website in the middle section.

My First Blog

Hello! This is my first post ever! So it probably won’t be very interesting… Sorry

I’ve decided to use the National Folk Festival website for my assignment. I dunno why I chose it… I guess because most people chose Stonefest.

So thats it… (told you it’d be boring to start with)

Change of Blogging Service

Ok so i've changed my blog service from Wordpress to Blogger. Simply because I like it better. So I'll add all my posts from the past few weeks now!
